My DVD player is saying.....?

Please insert disc when there is a disc in there. I tried my whole DVD collection and got the same thing. Could it be that I need to clean the lens? If not, what then?

It could be two reasons:

1) Laser/head is stuck.
2) Lens is dirty.

First, unplug the DVD player and plug it back in. Then, buy a DVD/CD lens cleaning kit. If that doesn't work, then it is time to buy a new DVD player.

Well you might need to clean it.
