I have been trying to get my boyfriend to get a tattoo. He really wants one, but he is so picky and won't get something that everyone else has.
He is into Harley Davidson, poker and is infatuated with gargoyles..
Does anyone have any sites or tattoo's that you think he would like?

I need some ideas to throw at him so I can get him into the tattoo parlor..

Take those likes and interests to a good tattoo artist. Have them draw up something unique and creative so that he can have a one of a kind tattoo.

I believe that's the best way to get what you want, especially when the internet serves no help sometimes and not everyone can draw well.

Instead of copying somebody else art work why don't you just come up with some ideas of your own. Bring your concepts or ideas to the tattoo artist and see what they can do with it.

I have a gargoyle tattoo cover my upper arm. It took me a while gather pictures to show the artist what I was looking for in the design. The picture isn't of one specific photo. It is a combo of a different designs and some of my own thoughts.

Some ideas to throw at you could be maybe going with 2 seperate designs. One for his love of HD's and another for the gargoyles. The HD one should be pretty easy to come up with a design. The tattoo shops usually have tons of flash to choice from. But I prefer the custom stuff that others don't have. But to each their own.

As for the gargoyle design what about one or a group playing poker?

But bottomline don't push your boyfriend into anything he doesn't want. Let him take his sweet time deciding. It going to be a decision that he'e going to have for the rest of his life.

you should get a custom tattoo artist to help you design something. if you want all three things incorporated into the tattoo, i would say a gargoyle riding a harley with a royal flush flying away (like confetti) that's just my quick idea.

be sure to make sure your tattoo artist is a good one. anything that detailed and complicated shouldn't be tried by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. check portfolios. good luck!!

How about a Harley with a gargoyle decal on it, and a fanned-out royal flush behind it? it may not make sense, but...

Whatever you do, don't push him so much...just let him go in and talk to an artist...he will get a tat when HE is ready..If not, he may regret it and hold a grudge against you for the life of the tattoo.. and you KNOW how long a tattoo lasts. lol.
