I am a straight married man with three kids and there were times in my life when I was homophopic. I am glad I am not gay! I have come to this question/conclussion for you to consider, Who am I to judge another individual? Do I have a right to tell any individual who they can fall in love with or who they can marry? The issue is not the married "couple" the issue in my view is the right of each of the individuals, and they deserve the same benefits and rights as any other individual. It wasn't that long ago that women were not allowed to vote and blacks rode in the backs of buses - looking back it sees rediculous.

Absolutey. It hurts the gay community that they cannot enter into the same committed relationships in the eyes of the world. It is hard to stay together with someone forever, and even tho marriage is flawed, at least it is an attempt to support people's intention to stay together. Gay people don't get that support and that is why there is more promiscuity in the gay world.
Straight is not the only proper way to be in the world. Gay people keep things interesting. Being straight and hateful is the problem.

I believe gays should be allowed to be married. I believe in human rights and freedoms and that everyone should be allowed to be happy. I am a Christian and a couple of years ago I probably would have said "no", but the older I get and the more I learn about the Bible and people and societal views I have concluded that there just isn't enough biblical backing for this not to be allowed. God sees all sin equally, whether it be a child lieing about taking a cookie before dinner or someone committing a murder. I say this because I think if we as a society put limitations on the unions of homosexual couples because it is a sin then we must also not let current drunkards, drug users, etc. enter into these unions because they are also living in sin. I guess all in all I'm not saying it's right (because I'm not quite sure of my opinion on that yet, and I think that's ok) I just think that we all deserve love and joy and peace in our lives.
I know many of my fellow Christians will not agree with me, but I have learned to agree to disagree. I still love God, pray, and try my best to be in his will, and as long as He and I know we're cool then we're cool.

No! That's not normal. Where does it say in the Bible that 2 men or 2 women are married. It's also not legal & I don't care what anyone says.

No. There are biblical reasons and there are socio-economic reasons. If you answer yes, and give the simple reason that just because they want to then they should, then you must also allow every child to decide whether or not they want to go to school and every criminal to decide whether or not they should go to jail.
P.S. Aloud means: using the voice; not silently. Allowed means: permitted

None of the religious sects in the world has said yes, why should I? It is an abormination and must be condemned by humanity. Let us speak with one voice: NO SODDOM AND GOMMORAH on earth; it was desyroyed by God himself, LONG AGO!

people are saying that if gay people get married that it affects the morals of those stragiht people who are married. The divorce rate is over 55% and with people like brittany and k-fed how could it get any worse? Of course gay people should get married. what diference does it make to anyone but the couple in question

Of Course! If thats what they want why not! Its simply a declaration of the commitment they have made to each other... a vowe of faithfulness if you wish, either way what does it have to do with anyone else!

Sure if its what they want to do. I think they make better couples than some heterosexual people. Anyone wants to bring up the bible go ahead since thats your only reasoning against it usually.
