I did a quick search on http://www.petfinder.com and came up with MANY boxers and boxer mixes in VA.

I think you need to invest in a fence before you get another dog.

If you don't have the money to adopt or buy a puppy from a reputable breeder, how are you going to afford proper veterinary care for this puppy.

I have 3 dogs, and there vet care can be expensive. Just this morning I paid close to $100 for an exam and testing because my bel mal pup Bindi has diarrhea. In couple weeks after her round of antibiotics, she has to go back for shots. There's another close to $100. My lab mix, has to be neutered next month, and also needs two toes removed to avoid injury. (they are back dewclaws that are "flapping in the wind", removing them at neuter is safer than having them get ripped off)

Not to mention toys food etc. Dogs are expensive. And you saying that you can't afford an adoption fee right now, says to me that you probably don't have the money right now to pay for care either.

Sorry for you loss, help your daughter through it. She will get through it, I know, my 4 year old daughter did when one of ours had to be put to sleep. And wait until you are better off to get another puppy.

I doubt you are going to find a free Boxer puppy. Maybe you should just BUY another one. How did the other one get stolen anyway?????????????????

If you live WAY out in the woods and let the PUPPY out to go potty and someone STOLE it, you do NOT need another puppy. Clearly, you weren't watching too closely. Maybe it wandered off. Puppies should NOT be left out alone. It had to be VERY near the road for someone to take it without you seeing them.
How do you not see a car coming up the drive?????? Do you let your kid out to play too????? This just sounds a little sketchy to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your chances of finding not only a free purebred but a free purebred puppy are slim to none. Reputable breeders spend hundreds to thousands of dollars caring for each litter; they could never afford to give their puppies away, and if they were going to, would probably not give it to someone who is so careless as to allow their dog to be stolen.

Dogs are not commodities. You'll have to wait. Keep checking local breed rescues and pounds, but unfortunately, you cannot just put in an order and have a beautiful purebred pup show up, especialyl for free! People spend thousands of dollars on purebred puppies and still often have to wait for months before their perfect puppy is born.

Boxers are super for family and teenagers I relatively have 3 boxers and a couple of toddlers , you purely could instruct them to be calm with the youngsters and on occasion they instruct themselves. i do no longer understand of any I basically had to rebut that different remark.
