depends on how strict the particular pentecostal church is on it. I'm sure there are some somewhere out there that do it. The ones that I have been to do not tolerate it at all. Not even wedding rings. Go figure.
You know why they said not to braid your hair though honestly...It used to be a sign that you were a prostitute. Today that is no longer true so I don't see any problems with it.

Pentecostal is a pretty generic term and there are many different churches and many different opinions within those churches about such things as dress and jewelry and makeup etc.

Each church is different. What is allowed or what is frowned upon differs from church to church. sometimes it depends as to whether you are a leader ,a sunday school teacher ,etc or just a member of the congregation.

Certainly the principle of modesty is found in the bible ( see above bible refernces) but the practical application of those principles vary from church to church.

do women need to keep their heads covered? Is it a sin to get their hair cut? how long should a skirt be? are pants allowed? what about earrings? etc.

questions like these can divide a church and split up a congregation....

May god give wisdom to pastors and elders of the churches....

god bless

I'm Penecostal and I wear jewelry.

1Ti 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

1Ti 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

The outward apperance shouldn't be the main focus of your living. So, that's why many do not wear jewelry. I don't wear earrings but I will wear a necklace, bracelet and a ring.
