I'm looking for book recommendations that describes at the most basic level everything thing there is to know about each branch of the U.S. Military. If it's not all in one book, that is fine. Looking to find out about ranks, uniforms, rules, training, types of aircraft, types of combat vehicles, types of sea-going vessels, etc. If you have any recommendations, please post them.
Thanks!

ASVAB For Dummies by Jennifer Lawler, Rod Powers, Paper, 2003, $16.99
This is the only "Dummies" book that relates to the current military. ASVAB is the test you take to get into the military. It stands for Armed Services Vocational Battery.
Now if you really want to know and have $300 in your back pocket you might be interested in this.

I thought this was G W Bush's state of the union address. He told us exactly what was going to be expected of soliders and the military. Now to be serious. You need to go to a large library that handles US Government publications. You would be amazed what the government puts out and makes so hard to find. You need a large library and a good librarian. Some of the best publications are put out by the government for a very cheap price. The cataloging of these documents is what makes them so difficult to locate. A really good library will have a book that lists all of the government publications, how to order, and what they contain.

ok, you asked for spin so right here it relatively is. It appears like those generals (and different vets and vet communities) do in contrast to war and infantrymen being killed (opposite to what maximum folk think of roughly protection stress workers). And it additionally appears like they do in contrast to distant places dependence on oil the two. distant places oil dependence skill each so often you will possibly desire to combat for oil, each so often oil money gets into the hands of terrorists and none of it relatively is stable for defense stress workers (between others, i.e. national secure practices). confident, they throw interior the term climate replace because of fact they might desire to when you consider that it relatively is the familiar reason for decreasing carbon utilization. yet like i've got stated one thousand circumstances, some human beings like the belief of carbon help regardless if the worldwide temperatures bypass up, down or sideways. those adult men like the belief of no longer giving trillions of dollars to center East countries (and the adverse repercussions that bypass alongside with that). actual, it relatively is a somewhat stable factor. If every physique reads that article as help for the technological expertise of CO2 inflicting disasterous warming, then they're extra suitable at spinning than I. confident, that's completely my attitude and punctiliously hypothesis. I even have my grandfather who replaced into killed in WWII to thank for permitting me to stay in a society the place i will brazenly speculate without worry of arrest or worse. Edit: i will might desire to accomplish a little digging into the Trueman national secure practices project. My preliminary effect is they're a Liberal front team. (confident, hypothesis back, supply me it sluggish.)

If there is, please send a copy to the White House.
Anybody who would want to know this information, must be a terrorist. Fortunately this communication is being monitored by the White House. You should get a knock on your door soon.
