Wait long enough to ensure you won't regret it later. Take some time to get to know someone first....or else it's an even bigger risk. You've heard the saying, that if you go to bed with a stranger he'll still be a stranger. Don't let anyone push you into this decision until you're ready....or else run for your life. Make sure that it's the guy you really want....and not someone who won't make an effort in other impt. areas of a relationship. It's your personal preference as to how long you want to date a person before sleeping with him. So, decide in advance what you think an appropriate timetable is. good luck & be safe

I asked a guy pal that query he reported date selection 5 or 6, I study a piece of writing on the internet that reported 10 or 13 dates, yet defintely drowsing with somebody to quickly could make the charm you sense for that person fade quickly.

It is not true in all cases that having sex when just meeting will end any chance of a relationship, but in most cases it will.

I think that the best time to be intimate with somebody, is when you really know a person, can trust them and be comfortable enough with them to share yourself with them. To me sex is very personal and there must be a strong bond between the person and I before sex is in the picture. How long that takes to achieve with a person is different in every situation.

Ive been with my girl for a year and two months now, and we are still virgins. We do other things but we agreed we will wait for sex. We are hoping to wait till marriage but it's hard. We are already comfortable enough to do it, but we just don't want to yet. With little holding us back, it's a challenge, but hopefully we will make it.

I think it was less than a week. I only take half the blame because she initiated everything, althought it was my fault for going along. But hey, I was still in high school and wasn't thinking about the conciquences of sex like i do now.

Men always want what they cannot have. My Granny said,"men are just like black-racer snakes. If you run from them -they will chase you indefinitely, but if you turn to chase them-they will run like the dickens". If he's worth keeping, he will wait as long as it takes for you to be ready. If he doesn't, then you don't need a man like that anyway.

8 months...don't regret it. We're very close friends (we dated for two years in high school). I consider him very close and it was a mutual decision when we did do that. Yes, I was young, but I loved him. And still do...he'll always have a special place in my heart as my first love and I'm glad we remained friends.
