How Do I know if this guy wants more then random hook ups?
I have really liked a guy on my crew team. I am the coxin and he is a rower and normally i am supposed to stay away from Rowers dating wise to not cause drama. Saturday night we went back to my room after a party, kissed, talked, and feel asleep together. It was really nice. I have like him a while and we normally don't flirt cause we arn't supposed too with teammates. I havn't talked to him besides saying hi. I want him to still be with me but i don't want him to just come over to hook up. Anyone see what I am trying to get at.

Another boy discretly talked to him and he told that boy that we are just good friends.

What kind of things should i do or ask him, or not do and not ask him about where this is going?

Or

Should I play hard to get?

Becasue it really seemed like we have more then a friendship.

If you are not suppose to mess with the crew team then I would use that as an excuse to not see him. But after the season is over (is there a "season") then I would ask him out and see where it leads. For now just be friends and nix the kissing and "feel" asleep together sessions. Of course it felt nice, it always feels nice to feel close to someone.

I'm kind of going through the same thing, only my guy is close friends with my brother and we have a lot of mutual friends. We're keeping it very quiet so as not to cause any conflict among friends/family. We spend a lot of time together privately, and at first I felt like it was just a fun fling. Now I'm starting to have feelings and I think that he has feelings too. Thats where things can get complicated.
Don't sell yourself short. If this guy just wants to hook up then you know you deserve better. Its also probably not worth risking your position on the team if its just going to be a fling. However, if you really think you have feelings for him, and you think he might feel the same I think the best thing you can do is give it some time to develope. Give him a chance to make a move. There is no need to rush things. That is really hard to do when you want to know how he feels RIGHT NOW, but he probably has the same concerns that you do and is trying not to get either of you in trouble with the team. Smile at him. Start a conversation. See how he reacts. If you listen to yourself...really listen, then you'll know what is right. Whatever you do don't get dramatic. Just let things happen. If its too difficult then its not meant to be.

You have a chance 2 be with anybody you want to! It's called confidence, and I'm not talking about arrogance which makes you play hard to get either!

Rule 1: always play hard to get.
Also, just let things develop slowly. If you try to talk to him about this, he'll run.
