i'm 24yrs old and have had flings but never found a guy that wanted to stay with me longer than a couple of months...i don't consider myself to be beautiful but i'm not ugly and think i am genuinely a nice person. do you think my standards are 2 high or just my expectations? or is it that men just dont like me enough to wanna stick around? i lack confidence and do not actively seek out dates but im sick of being single and sexually frustrated!...but dont want casual sex. help!!!!!!!!

Chances are, you just haven't found the right one. It has nothing to do with looks.
The best advice I can give you is to be confident. Don't settle for someone less than wonderful just to be with someone. You will never find the right man if you are dating the wrong ones. Don't compromise your standards.
If you find yourself interested in someone, ask them to dinner. If they say no, no big deal, on to the next one.
Please don't give in to casual sex. Don't sleep with anyone until you have made a commitment. If they are serious, they'll wait.

people are always in a rush to have a long term relationship. these things take time, they dont just come because you will it. the perfect guy will come along eventually, when you least expect it. thats not just a weird supersticion or jinx thing, it genuinly does!! just wait patiently and you will see that the guy you are looking for is just around the corner. also it could have something to do with u not 'actively seeking out dates' if u sit around all day, you wont find anything!!! he wont come to you!!!

Have you considered the fact that men might be the same way? What if they like you but lack confidence too? Some guys need a little encouragement.

Carly personally you are trying to hard and so young to be wound up about this looks are not everything i am 46 and not movie star material but i get by at a steady pace why rush along take your time it will just happen for you .You wont be left on the shelf promise cheers Alan
