I feel your pain, I have been suffering with acne for ever, I have tried every crem and acne treatment that is out there. I even tried Proactiv and was very dissapointed with the results. I am now trying laser acne remover it works inside the skin .your face should be the same color as your hands. My doctor had me hold my hands next to my face to see the difference and I was suprise to see how discolor and bad my face is. most laser places offer free consultations, maybe you should concider it that way you never have to suffer from acne again. I would like to have clear skin for once in my life time. good luck in whatever you decide to do. :-)

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Ok, you're going to have to go to a dermatologist. He's actually the only one that can help you...over the counter medicines won't work. If you don't seek help as soon as you can, then you'll scar a lot more. Best of luck to you...........
