It's sad. I do all the work. It's hard and tiring but I'm tired of arguing about it with my husband. I think it's just because we allow the people around us to make expectations or we know if we don't do it no one else will. It's so frustrating!

One person doesn't do all the work in my family. My husband is my partner and we share the work - as it should be. If you (or your spouse) do all the work in your family, it is your own fault.

Not sure really what you mean, both my husband and I help each other out and do work together when we can, and when we can't, we do what we can without the other. We both have jobs and we both do cleaning at home and take care of our 14 month old son... it's all shared responsibility. Works out great for us.

im a dad and i share the load with mum - we take everything in turns, even putting the kids to bed and we both work - thats the way it should be, not one person doing all the work

Well, that's not true. My husband goes to a paying job and he makes a lot of money. I work at home to raise my children and clean my house for a healthy environment

I hear you, I don't have kids but my husband is like that. From what I hear we have to start disciplining are husbands and not feeling guilty about it also, instead of him always asking you to get him something you try it. You will notice a diff.

Because the rest of the family knows if they don't she (the mom) will. She might complain, but she'll still do it! LOL

Because someone has to take the responsibility...usually it is the Mom...men just don't multi-task! Drives me nuts sometimes!
