Yes, Christmas Eve we have a dinner at our house with my boyfriends mom, we have chili verde and tamales and open one present each. The next morning, we do our own breakfast and open presents with out daughter and then go to my mom's house in the afternoon, do a little gift exchange with her, my brother, sisters, nieces, and nephews, and then have a prime rib dinner. I'm a tradition kind of person.

No. We don't live near family. Normally we would but this year we are just having a dinner for us. The closest family lives twenty-four hours away. I'm excited to do our own thing this year!

Yes, I get together with my in-laws, my own family makes such a big deal around the holidays, and I refuse to let my family get in such a hostile environment.
