So, my boyfriend (17yrs.) is sick.... he has the chicken pox. Not only does he itch all over, but he's also in a lot of pain. And, plus he has to miss all of his major exams. He also has a trip to England soon and they won't let him leave if he isn't well by then. So, I want to do something sweet to make him feel better. You know how the guys always bring soup and a teddy bear, etc. Well, what's the "guy version" of that? What should I put together to give him?
Help please.

WELL THATS NICE BABE, I WISH MY WIFE WAS THAT NICE TO ME WHEN I GET SICK... BUT ANYWAY...
FIND OUT WHAT THE KID IS INTO, FOR EXAMPLE IF HE IS INTO COMPUTER GAMES OR CONSOLE GAMES, OR BIKE GET HIM SOME MAGS OR SOME PUZZLES STUFF TO KEEP THE POOR GUY BUSSY WHILE HE HEALS, BASED ON YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF HIS INTERESTS...
WHAT IM INTO MY DEAR WIFE SHOULD'NT PROVIDE DUE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF CONTAGEIOUSNESS BUT ANYTHING ELSE!!!
SPEND SOME TIME WITH THE GUY AND LET HIM KNOW HE IS NEEDED, OTHERWISE GIVE HIM SOMETHING TO LOOK FWD TO...HAVE FUN!

Chicken pox isn't the end of the world last about a week and after the first 2 days he is not contagious. Maybe he should have taken the vaccine

A personalized CD with all his favorite songs on it or coll (not cheesy) songs that remind you of him. I hear peanut butter cookies are good with the guys and of course, above all, baby him. I don't know why this is but if a guy has the slightest ailment to be imagined (a cold, the flu, ..whatever), they really like to be babied. (Not in an pathetic, ovboius way, just in a way that makes them feel extra special). That is the most important thing they like when they're sick, tons of caring attention and whatever else will make them feel special. Hope he gets better!

The guy version of a Teddy Bear is a Teddy. But if he's that sick it might just be cruel to see you in a Teddy and not be able to do anything.

I would give the same thing. Some soup and maybe a couple magazines...
You could also bring over some movies and just hang out with him and watch them. That is if he's feeling up to being with you.

Do the same for him. Bring him some hot, homemade soup, some flowers and a teddy bear. He'll appreciate it, I'm sure.

Forget the first swine answer....Which started off ok..then got nasty....Just be there for him....Soup/teddy bear/sweet and tender words to show you care. That's a care package I would appreciate.

You could give him a picture album with lots of pictures of you two or of the things he likes so he can look at in bed and smile at them. Or make a scrapbook as well.

Probably dvd's to watch and cd's to listen to along with a homemade cake or cookies.
I hope he feels better soon - my brother had them when he was 21 and I thought he was going to die before he finally got better!
