whats wrong with the Windows Media Player that is already installed on your computer, and if you need any updates for it then go to their web site Microsoft.com where you can download the most up to date media player there is which is Media Player 11 that will play your DVD disk's and your CD's mind, you will need to have a genuine copy of windows to do this. and the best bit is , it is all free so no need to worry about having to install software and hoping that it's going to work or not. the download only takes around five minutes, good luck

There's a very good, and free, DVD player available for download at the below link. It's called "Video LAN", and will do the job of playing a DVD for you on your computer. Good luck.
