No, all lipstick products are regulated for saftey. There are no lipsticks that cause cancer.

There was an email letter hoax saying that some famous brands like Christian Dior, lancome, clinique, estee lauder, had lead in them and caused cancer. But none of it was true.

The place to check any type of hoax like this one about cancer is at the American Cancer Society. They check these types of false accusations out all the time.

"Lipstick and Lead

Rumor:
In May 2003, an email began making the rounds claiming that many of the most popular lipsticks on the market contain lead and will cause cancer. The email then offers a way to test lipsticks to see if they have lead.

Fact:
A search of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Web site finds that lead content of coloring agents used in lipstick is regulated by that agency, and that the levels permitted are not a health problem.
Revised: 12/19/2005"

probably. these days they tell you everything causes cancer. but what they don't tell you is you would have to be in excessive unnatural use of these things. i.e. say there's a lipstick that they say causes cancer you would probably have to wear that lipstick 24 hours a day for the next some ungodly number of years before it could cause cancer.

I didn't hear about that one, but I know not to buy cosmetics in places like Mexico. They use lead in makeup and fingernail polish. Lead poisoning is a horrible sickness. Just be careful and try to stick with safe or name brand products.
