Well... The point as to whether he is or not isn't really the problem is it? I had to deal with the same thing. Talk to your girl about it, and see how she felt when he was talking to her. (Okay if he was talking about things that you wouldn't talk about normally- sex, love, etc. then stop him and tell him to go away) You've got to trust your girl. She can take care of herself, and if she needs help, tell her to ask you. If you cut in and it's just inoccent convo, she will get resentful.
