My fiancee and I will be having a baby after marriage. His uncle, who was like a father to him, died this year. The uncle's last name was Walsh. What do you think of that for a first or middle name?

My last name is Walsh and I wouldn't want it for a first name! Maybe a middle name...

i would say middle name. first name would be too weird. youll need to find a name that sounds good with walsh, depending on your last name: Joesph Walsh ___, Andrew Walsh ___, ect.

plus, a great honor would go to your guy. he will appreciate the tribute.

good luck!

I think it's great--plus a big honor for your boyfriend's uncle---Just don't use Walsh as the middle name if you are namaing the baby Joe----

Good luck to you!

I think it would work for either...but sounds more like middle name material. :)
