I was on msn & I noticed that my ex-bf was playing Coldplay songs. The thing is that he HATES Coldplay but he knows that they’re my favourite band. I thought he was giving me some kind of signal so I said hi to him & asked “since when did u like coldplay” and he said “I always liked them”. Most of his responses were short & it took him long to respond so I just told him I had to go. I don’t get it, why did he do that? What are his intentions? He was the one who ended the relationship, but he would still say hi to me on msn but he doesn’t say hi as much, but today I felt like he was giving me a signal so I made the first move & said hi first. Also, I saw him a month ago at the university campus that we both attend. He seemed REALLY happy to see me, he said "give me a shoutout and we can do something", & I just looked at him, and he said "yeah we can see a movie together or anything you want", I just said bye and walked away. He hasn't tried to ask me to hang out yet.

Was he just being nice when he said that? and why did he do that today on msn? Is he playing with me? I still kinda like him cuz he was my first bf and first kiss, but it never went past kissing. How can I get HIM to ask me to 'hang out'?

hmm well sometimes in a relationship, the person who breaks up has seconds thoughts right after the break up. They finally notice that you were a large part of there life. Sometimes people just get over it and some don't. Maybe he sort of likes you again.. if he's listening to music that reminds him of you & if he wants to hang out with you. I'm sort of going through the same thing right now. He probably just misses you.

What you have with this guy isn't a relationship at all ,,,, A relationship should be fun and exciting with out any problems and not what this guy is handing you ,,,, You said yourself that he's the one that broke it off between you two so let it stay that way ,,,, If he really did like you or respect you then he'd be bending over backwards to make you feel special with out all the puzzling crap ,,,, You don't need this ,,,, There are plenty of fish in the pond so find one that you can have a proper relationship with with out all the crap this other guy is giving you ,,,, Drop this guy the same way you would a hot rock ,,,, You don't need him ,,,,

I would remain his ex girlfriend , and not contact him any more
he probably has a new friend that likes Coldplay or he he said he didnt like them because you liked them
I wouldnt show him you are interested in him by asking either
if he was in to you he wouldnt have broke up with you , and he would be calling you , if you are doing all the work
and don't receive the same none of it matters

Sweety get over it. Don't look too far into things. Maybe he started liking Cold Play after you broke up. He's not sending you signals and if he still wanted to be with you he would call you. Move on. Hes loser anyways.

He broke up with you so its completely up to him to get things going again or not. Leave him and the whole situation alone otherwise he'll start to think you're a stalker.

I think that you need to just leave him alone. It sounds like he's just being polite to you. Just move on and forget about him.
