I have an mp3 player (similar to iPod, but better) and I want to listen to it in my car that does not have an audio line-in jack. What can I do? My car is 2006 VW Jetta. Any ideas?

yes i have one THERE IS A 12 PIN PLUG IN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRUNK IT IS THE CD CHANGER PLUG
you can plug a auxiliary input interface there or it can be plug in to the back of the radio
top left plug behind the radio

Much better than a wireless transmiitter, plus it doesn't use batteries.

It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch that can used or it can be replaced with a relay powered by the remote wire from the radio.
This is the answer. Totally versatile.

Honestly man don't bother i mean you can listen to it but you will get crappy sound or feed back from your system for some reason unless you have an i-pod connection built into your system all the radio transistors do is give you low CD quality feedback which is pretty bad considering what you spent on that car and the system
just stick with Cd's it will be batter for you sound quality wise
but i don't know guess it's up to you just giving you some advice from the stereo installer guy...
what you can do is take it back to your dealer and see if they will do it for you or have car toys try and install one but those are the only ones i would have mess with that
other guys are just part timers and don't really know enough and can mess up your system pretty bad if they Dont know what there doing

Get a generic transmitter from any electronics store (Best Buy, Radio Shack etc..)
It will plug into your player and transmit the signal to your radio on an un used channel . You simply tune in the channel and you will hear your ipod (or whatever).
Belkin makes a generic one.... Ipod has one (of course) but bring more money.
an easy solution.... you will be listening to your tunes in no time

you can get a FM transmitter that takes it from your headphone jack and sends it wireless to your car radio. available at any electronics store :)
