Seriously though, if loosing your virginity is your only reason for wanting a girlfriend, you are already a looser. But try this, avoid the good looking popular girls that all the boys drool over, be nice to one of the less good looking girls, listen to her and be what she expects from a boy. That will make her happy and she will smile. Then the other good looking girls will want to know what you have, that makes your girlfriend so happy and want some of the action.
Now you have several girls fighting over you and your chances of getting laid are vastly increased. It's immoral, chuavanistic, shallow and demeaning to women but it works. The girls will eventually despise you and your mates will hate you but the chances are that they will still be virgins and you won't.
Alternatively you can make sure that you are clean, smell nice and don't be pushy around the girls. One of them will want to be with you and you should be attentive, always check her hairstyle and dress style, comment on any changes and the hunt is on. Don't grope in public and when she does agree to have sex with you, don't get her pregnant and don't boast to your mates. Then everyone will love and respect you and you can pick and choose who you have sex with.
The first way is fast fun and very risky, the second way is slower and you are less likely to get hurt. A warning. Sex has nothing to do with love. Love will make good sex better but eventually love usually screws up your sex life. Ignore failures we all get too many of them to matter. You will succede. You must or the human race will die out.

At 16, I think you should look for someone with whom you have lots of fun and things to talk about. And of course, someone who shares the things that you like.
That way, when you become older, you will always look back to the relationship with a smile on your face, thinking about those wonderful, fun experiences. Nothing frustrating about it. You will have plenty of time afterwards to complicate your life with more "serious" relationships looking for intelligence or money.

I'm sorry but what is the point in this question??? How can people off the net that dont know you tell you what kind of bloke is best suited to you?? You should look to make yourself the person you would like to attract. If you are a considerate, loving person, you will attract the same. If you are out to use someone for their money, you will attract users, etc.
The intelligence part is relative to how intelligent you are. If you date someone who is dumber than you, then you will eventually resent them. If you date someone who is more intelligent than you, you will either learn from them or you may become jealous and they could even begin to resent you!
Look for a person who is like yourself and make sure you are someone you like.

With that attitude you won't get one at all. Just imagine how it would feel for the boot to be on the other foot?
You shouldn't go looking for a 'type', just wait until you meet a girl that you like for herself. Only a very 'shallow' person has your attitude.

You must always put TRUST and LOYALTY in a girl. It should also be 50/50 if you want to have a long relationship. You cannot expect 100% on one side and not the other.

bebez no offence but i think that is all up 2 u, as all the qualities listed are all personal peferences. therefore it is entirely up to u to choose as at the end of the day its you that gonna have 2 cope with the girl of your choice, not us. I would suggest not looking for a girlfriend until you're mature enough to recognize that whittling a woman down to one thing like "sex appeal" is ridiculous, sexist, and unfulfilling.
