How can I get respect back from my guy friend?
I recently told my guy friend that I was having some serious feelings for him and how I felt bad about it since he already has a gf. He thanked me for liking him, but I get the sense he enjoyed the fact that I liked him. He keeps making fun of me for it, which I don't appreciate. For example, he told a friend of his I liked him and they made a sexual joke about it and yesterday, he was teasing with another friend of his, who is female, and then he looked at me to see if I was jealous or somthing. Overall, he is a nice guy, but I just don't like he's teasing me about it. What should I do?

He's trying to make you comfortable...I know, I know...a stupid way to do it...but boys are odd. If you were one of his guy friends he would make jokes, and you'd make jokes and everyone would laugh and it would be all better. HOWEVER you're one of his chick friends...and try as they might, few fellas can successfully make the total transition between the dude world and the chick world. He literally doesn't understand that your confession was supposed to be this quiet secret between you two and you two alone. You need to talk to him. Tell him that you don't like it when he teases you, and to please stop. If he's as nice as you say, he will.

He's trying to deal with it by making it into a joke, I'm guess him and his gf don't make as good of a fit as you and him would. So maybe he knows if he thinks about seriosly he'll see that and he doesn't want to hurt he's gf, just a thought

He's a jerk. Even if he's not interested he shouldnt be teasing you about it. I for one am proud to know that someone likes me. Gives me a confidence boost while it lasts.

Sounds like he is immature to me, if I was in his place I would find it flattering and be conscience of your feelings.
