what's so down about turning fifty? Think of all the things you can do and all the wisdom you've got. When I was 16-20 I thought I knew what was going on and my parents just didn't understand what my life was like. I have since learned that they were right and I should really trust my elders more because a lot of people really are the same. 50 really isn't that old these days, not in my eyes anyway. Get out and have some fun.

You are so Blessed and special to be alive.God didn't leave you here to be down and depressed.I know you can think of others who are not still with us,but you are.Put a smile on your face.Look at yourself in the mirror and say,I am special and I am still here for a purpose and if nobody else loves me,God does and He means more than anyone else can because He made me.I am in my late 60's and now to know that 50 is no longer middle age,but 60 is,makes me real happy (smile).Have a special and Blessed birthday.

Well dear believe it or not you have no reason at all to be feeling down. You need to realize that because of God's grace and mercy He has allowed you to see 50. So many people don't have that opportunity to reach that age so you should consider yourself blessed. So many times we as humans find so many things to complain about and worry about but we never find the time to be grateful and thankful for the true blessings that God has given to us. Each day that we wake up in our right minds and healthy that alone is a blessing because so many don't have their right minds, so many are sick and sick unto death. When you look around trust me you can find someone out there thats in worse shape than what you consider yourself. So be thankful to God for turning 50 and pray that he allows you to see many more birthdays.

I think your 50's can be the best time of your life if you make it that way. My mom is in her 70's and still acts like a 20 year old sometimes. Keep your head up and have a great birthday!

My birthday was yesterday and I turned 58! I love it. I am more respected. I know more. I enjoy each day. I don't waste time feeling sorry for myself or anybody else! I am my own woman and it took me 5 decades to get where I am now. Enjoy yourself. You do not have to try to be or look like anyone else but the one and only YOU. Have a great birthday, with people or alone. If you are alone, do something special for yourself. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

I am so looking forward to being 50!! Like fine wine we only get better with age. You know more, you've seen more. And you've lived more than the younger ones. Us Sagittarius people are awesome but we get down about our birthdays, haha.
I'm sure you're a great person and lots of people love you, but if no one seems to show it on your birthday don't worry about it, People are too busy trying to fit more of their heads up their a*ses to care about someone else's special day.
By the way, 50's not old and neither are you.

I'm 65. It doesn't get easier It gets better. I'm in a relationship with a YOUNG Woman, 30 years younger and we are soooo happy. We've been together for 5 years.
There is STILL A LONG W AY TO GO !!!
ENJOY ! WE go around only once.
