They will take it away do not bring it or you will lose it they did it to me....

I don't believe that they will allow you to bring that on the aircraft. You can try and look on the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ to see if the specifically say that you can not bring a laser pointer on the aircraft. They have a complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft in your carry on.

No. That is one item that will most certainly be confiscated as it is considered a hazardous item to all airlines.
Buy a replacement when you get to your destination.
