An AI would never need to ask if it has a creator because the creator would be right there to say, "Oh, hey, yeah, I built you. Think nothing of it. How can I help you grow?"

And not all AIs rely on logic as a direct processing method. I've seen and worked with neural networks that integrated a quantum noise source and did some pretty amazing things (like generage novel information based on past learned information and presentation of stimuli). A neural network does not use logic, it's simply nothing more than a collection of firing potentials distributed over a large node cluster.

Say you were a scientist working with the latest in A.I. and you decide to bulid a robot capable of human like intelligence. Now say you wanted to test this robots way of thinking by programming the question "who or what created me in its brain. You then put this robot on a deserted island with a computer capable of telling it any proven fact there is about science or the earth. You also leave this robot an instruction manual describing to it the design process you went through while building it along with its technical specs and programming information along with a note stating that you would return one day to check on it. Now when you return do you think that the robot will know that you are the creator as its instruction manual suggests or will it have concocted a theory that somehow over billions of years it was formed by chance encounters of chemicals and minerals colliding and interacting to form a functioning entity. The answer is simple we like the robot have all the worlds information at our finger tips yet all we have to do to discover our creator is read our instruction manual. Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

An Ai has never been created that can use logic, just pre-programed paths.

if you mean a god, i think it would classify it as an unknown, and probably unknowable.
