When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

This means that he either has a hard time breaking up with the girl hes dating now or he wants both of you and if he was single he would want to go out with you.

Stalker in the making. He may be dating someone else but that is either to make you jealous or to get over you. Sayign what he said was his way of letting you know he'd dump the girl if you asked.
break off with him completely before he goes completely mental. He'll hate you for it, but in the end it will be better for the both of you.

It means he likes you but doesn't believe in polygamy, but he does want to keep you as a back up girl in case things do not work out with him and his present girl.
