Ive tried proactive, over the counter products, doctor prescribed meds. Im pregnant for the first time so I cant do anything that will harm the baby right now. I use aveeno soap and clearasonic brush, still get break outs. ugh!

You're going to have to break down and go to a dermatologist. He'll be the only one who can help you, keep you from getting scars, and know what to give you so it won't hurt your baby. Best of luck to you and your baby........Merry Christmas!!!!

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Stay out of the Sun that's for one And the most important thing that you didn't mention what you do is watch what you eat

What you might want to do is switch to whole foods just for a bit and organic veggies for a while and stay away from caffeine's of sorts too while the body regenerates the nutrients needed to heal this
drink plenty of water and apply some ave-no lotions as needed

Well are you washing your back enough? Sometimes my back breaks out and I notice that my back gets oily. So what I do is get a few cotton balls with rubbing alcohol and rub it on my back for a few days. IT cleans it fast and I see the dirt come off into the cotton swab. I also have long hair and sometimes thats what irritates my back too.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

did you try antibiotic therapy through the dermatologist? that usually works. also, exposure to the sun (be careful!) can help dry it up.
