Actually, you're pretty close. It would sound better as "I came into this world" Saying "I came to this world" almost sounds like you're a visitor from another planet.

If it's the first day of your life, you "were born."

or heck why not

"my mom pushed me out of her for 20 hours and finally i put a smile on her face"

"Came" implies choice.....a choice which you did not have.
