You're dried out and the inside of your nose is cracking and bleeding and mixing with your mucus. Drink lots of water.

This bleeding is fairly common after a bad sinus infection. Don't blow your nose so hard. Go get some saline nasal spray and gently wash your sinuses 2-3 times a day until you nose has a chance to heal. This may take a week or two depending on the extent of membrane damage.

good luck with your dobie

First call your doctor when you are this concerned. Many people break little blood vessels in their nose from blowing it to much. It sounds like you could have allergies as well. If you have nails also, this could account for finding blood in other areas after scratching. In any case any time there is blood the doctor needs to be notified to rule out other possibilities. Always take care of your body first!

It is possible that you are dehydrated. Lots of things cause this, but the first suggestion I would make would be to keep up our intake of water (0.5 oz per lb. you weigh each day) for a week then see if it doesn't improve. I never had blood with sinus infections; I've had a couple in my lifetime, but have never recalled blood.

You may have broke a blood vessel from the frequent blowing of your nose during your sinus infection.Nothing serious.

Yes, very much so. Also, lay off the white powder and the all-night parties which cater these after effects from overdoses! LOL, just kidding! Don't be forcing this blood discharge as you may be making matters worse! Don't blow when not necessary.

You could be blowing your nose too hard.
Also, you get stuffed up when the air is dry because your nose is trying to keep the nasal passages moistened to do their job of keeping out stuff. Try something like "Ocean" it's a salt water nasal spray that has no medications in it. It's helped me.

a sinus infection can add to it. you are probably breaking tiny blood vessels if you ar blowing your nose hard.. get your sinuses cleared up and stop blowing so hard.

Yes, your sinuses are irritated and probably dry. Try steaming. Boil a pot of water on the stove, put your face over it (careful not to get burned by steam!) and cover your head and the pot with a towel which acts as a curtain to keep the steam in. Breathe in for 15-20 minutes.
