Waldmeier in that spelling is of German origin. They Dutch version would be Waldmeijer, or Waldmeyer. Maietta could be from any germanic-speaking country but is more than likely a 'pet' name, possibly from Maria or Marietta.

I am sure it is a name. Don't you mean Marietta Waldmeyer? I am from Holland and have never heard of the first name Maietta.

Actually, it sounds a bit German (Wald in german means Forest or Woods)
