Every day of the week is a blessing but it is compulsory for men to go to mosque on Friday. There is no special meal or special ritual that we perform on this day. We pray the same amount on a Friday as we do on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc

All days are special, but men have to pray together on a Friday. This is also a time for the leader (imam) to be questioned and to discuss community affairs.
Muhammad (pbuh) used to fast of tuesday and thursday as well.
