People judging a book by its cover. I got that from church people a lot too because I dressed current instead of like "Little House on the Prairie." Don't worry. The worthwhile people won't make snap judgments on you.

I think being a skate boarder has nothing to do with your faith. Your music is a reflection of what is in your heart. People are usually attracted to music that reflects what they already believe, so just be careful in that.
The question I would wonder is, is:
What do you believe makes a christian, a christian? Having a christian girlfriend and skateboard to praise God does not make you a christian. Christ does. Have you asked Jesus to be the Lord of your life? Have you placed your faith in Him alone for your salvation? This is what makes a christian, a christian.

Becoming a Christian is through faith in Christ. Not what you do, what music you listen to, or anything else.
Living the Christian life is through obedience to God and His word. He tells us to not conform to this world, but be transformed through His Word. He tells us to obey our parents. He tells us to love, serve, and encourage one another. And He tells us to follow Him with all your heart, sould and strength!
There are many ways to worship God. If you are following Him, your worship will be pleasing to Him.

I think anyone who praises an imgainary being is nuts.
But there is nothing wrong with listening to the music you do.
