I really applaud you for what you are doing! Christmas is such a magical time for children, and we grown ups can have a magical time too just watching their excitement.
Around October when your child wants a special toy, tell him that Santa is coming soon and he can write a letter to Santa and
ask for it. This starts the kid thinking. Of course they are going to see stuff on TV and at preschool and you can talk to them about it.
Think about having fun holiday traditions. It can be as simple as going to the lot to pick out the Christmas tree together, baking some cookies in the kitchen with the kids "helping" , or more elaborate traditions like going to a theme park to check out their Christmas celebration.
The really wonderful thing is you'll get to have fun too!!!
Merry Christmas!!!

Look at what Santa represents love, happiness and warmth. I was taught that Santa brings presents to children on Christmas eve if we were good. Another suggestion for you and a tradition I started with mine, on Christmas Eve I go to NORAD Santa, it's Canadian personel that track Santa on Christmas eve. They have great stories and wonderful pictures to see and you learn a few things too. The website is always open. The last thing is open your heart, I still believe in Santa Claus.

Did dad grow up believing in Santa? If so, see what his parents did. That way you can incorporate some of their traditions. If he is not in the picture, start with hanging stockings, etc and take her to see the Santa at the Mall. She will very soon pick up the connection.

I think you should just do the basic things like telling them there is a santa, reading them books about santa, having them watch christmas movies, etc. If you talk about santa and tell them that he is real they will believe you. At such a young age they believe anything you say since you are their mother. They are like sponges sucking every thing up. Good Luck!

Honey, if you believe in anything, then you can believe in Santa. I am 48 yrs old and I still believe in Santa. For the simple fact that no one has showed me that there isn't one.
But it's totally up to you what you want to believe or nor believe.
It's not hard to teach your children what to believe in. All you have to do is sincere about what you tell them.
Good Luck!

First. i don't notice this holiday so i'm not coaching to any toddlers, yet i don't have a topic with others joking around and taking section in it. it fairly is like pretending WWE wrestling is genuine or the line runner and coyote. Its a recreation. next so a approaches as Santa, there is not any one on a sleigh going around with provides. it fairly is a recreation. there's a guy who replaced his call to St. Nicholas and he lives at North Pole Alaska. I actually have a chum who's mom use to technique the mail for North Pole Alaska. lower back this is in undemanding terms a recreation not genuine basically fiction. a individual can the two not participate or participate. this is not an important topic.

Why lie to your kids? I let my kids believe in Santa until they started asking questions, then I told them the truth. I felt that if they knew I'd lied about Santa, they'd start wondering about what else I was lying to them about. We try to instill a sense of truthfullness in our kids, it just doesn't make sense to lie to them about Santa and the Easter Bunny and such.

Santa is a lie! If you don't want to make part of that lie, tell your kids about paganism and stupid traditions.

Teach them about the spirit of Christman and that Santa symbolizes that spirit.
