Krispy Kremes are quite tasty ... thanks to the fat they use. . . and even more so they are so fresh when one buys them in the doughnut shop. Quite often in the supermarkets what is sold as pastry is so full of chemicals to make the product last longer that the fresh taste is long gone before it the box in on the shelf. But honestly, I'd rather have a Dunkin' Donut, even if their spelling is just as wrong as Krispy Kremes

No, but not enough supermarkets sell Krispy Kremes! Some Tesco stores do, but otherwise we have to make do with the doughnuts we can get...

only if you buy the stuff that has been defrosted prior to sale, if you buy the freshly made donuts you should have no problem. the specialised donurts and some others are bought in from a manufacturer and the put in a really big freezer and will then be defrosted when needed. if the supermarket has a bakery the fresh delicious donuts will be avaliable as well.
and for some of the answers - a decent supermarket disposes of the donuts after a period of 24hrs

It's the fat content. Supermarket doughnuts are usually healthier then Krispy Kremes.

Krispy Kreme and sweetkas_69 both suck!! Dunkin Doughnuts are the only ones to buy!

because supermarket donuts are mass produced and then shipped out, as to where krispy kreme donuts are usually made at that krispy kreme.

I know what you mean!...I stear clear of the donuts in the gas station or supermarket in those little class cases, they just seem nasty, I get my fresh off the line at my local Krispy Kreme, Its just like heaven:)

supermarket charge 99p for 10 . krispy kremes a dozon for £3 .you get what you pay for

it is all about the dough- and the frying process- that is why Krispy Kreme is who they are now.
I still remember thinking "how good can a donut be?" when I walked into a Krispy Kreme for the first time....
Oh, it can be very very very good!

supermarkets dougnuts are all like days old
and they taste like plastic
