Well if it is going down then the doctor is probably right. Keep and eye on it though and if it is not gone in ten days then return to your doctor again

I would be extremely careful of lumps in your neck. Usually that is the first sign of lymphoma, a type of cancer. Now don't get all upset and run off claiming you have cancer. Hodgkins usually isn't more than a nuisance if diagnosed early enough.
And then again it could be just one of your lymph nodes hasn't totally gone back to its normal size yet.

You haven't said whereabouts in your neck the lump is so I presume it's at the front on one side. It is shrinking so give it a few more days before going back to see your Doctor. You have to give your body enough time to recover from infections. I think you are worried in case it may be Cancer. People who drink alcohol regularly are more susceptible.

Hi, if it is worrying you then please go back, i would. Its for your peace of mind and you need to know. Have you had any tests to prove that it is a lymph? - if not then get a second opinion. Its a good sign that its got smaller - is it painful? always check for any changes. Its up to you at the end of the day but for peace of mind - i would go back. Hope this helps and hope it goes.
Love Sarah

Yes I had one of those and it turned out to be a Mantel cell Lymphoma, I am having Chemo to sort it out but it is non curable, it only gives me a few more years to live. I hope and pray that yours is not the same as mine.Good luck. Eddie

I have one of those that never goes down. I've had it for years. They can be caused by a lot of things including allergies. I don't think you should worry.
