I kinda know what your goin through. You ain't a jerk. If you don't love you bf anymore then it ain't fair for you to just stay with him if you ain't happy. If you like another guy and he likes you then go for it. Do what is good for you. Not for the one you ain't happy with.I hope you figure it out. Good luck!!

No, you're not a total jerk.. Because in the long run you would have been stringing him along and liking someone else. Either way it's not fair for him, but this is the best thing. Besides this will help you realize your true feelings for him.

Well honesty is the best policy. So if you like someone else it's good you broke it off with your boyfriend. Breaking up with someone isn't easy. If you did it in a nice and respectful way then you are not a jerk.

no u are not. me and my ex were together for 2 years and 4 months and she decided she liked someone else so she ended it so you should be just fine. people have to learn how to move on

Since he didn't believe you, keep telling him gently but firmly. Just keep repeating that you don't want to date him anymore, that he's not the right guy for you. Tell him that it's not anything he did or said and there's not anything he can do to change it. He's just not the right guy for you.
