Border Collies Don't do fufu. Is there a ball somewhere?

I would absolutely never waste money on expensive designer jewlery for digs; it seems almost a sin! That said, I do put a jacket and boots on my dog in the wintertime. While I think it is a bit embarassing and always said i wouldn't dress up my dogs, unfortunately, Canadian winters dictate that I must.

In response to Blossom, Dalmatians (and many other breeds) are practically bald on their bellies and unlike husky types, have no fur on the bottoms of their paws. While they may not have been designed to wear clothes, they were also not designed to survive in -40C winters. Either the dog wears a coat and boots, or she freezes to death. You take your pick which is more cruel.

dogs are dogs and should be treated as dogs not fashion icons, people are now buying small dogs because paris hilton has one, paris dresses them up so do they it's pathetic, do they actually care for the dogs NO. If it wont fit in the bag they wont buy. treating dogs as humans will make them less intelligent. I watched a program about a small dog like paris hiltons who was treated like baby and the trainer said to the owner " to show how intelligent your dog is i'll throw this blanket over his head and see how long it takes him to get it off" 30 MINUTES later he had to take the blanket of the dogs head. Point taken.

Dogs are appropriately dressed from the day they are birthed. All the rest is what you are about. Personally, I think this is imposing upon dogness and is JUNK. Let your dog be a dog and save your money. If the set in which you travel does these things, they aren't dog lovers, they are junk lovers. Move on if you are a lover of dogs. They want the money of fashionistas. Is that you?

Maybe rich celebrities do. I just get sweaters from Petco for my dogs, because they are short hair and don't like going on walks in the cold. It works just as well, and is even more cute than all that fufu expensie stuff!

One year I dressed my dogs in Christmas reindeer costumes and they hated it. Kept fidgeting, so I haven't tried since. I have friends who dress their dogs in sweaters or use bandanna accessories and they seem to be fine.

Oooh gawd I suppose so. There's all that burberry stuff and diamon encrusted collars. If you ask me, it's a waste of money. Dogs don't CARE what they wear! Chavs.
