They pay him more, it is up to him to either set up a joint account or send you money, if he doesn't give you any money, you need to contact his command.

Because they are now married instead of single they do get more money (BAQ, BAS,i.e.). But any money the spouse gets is given to them by the military member. For the lower paygrades there used to be a required allotment sent to the spouse. I don't know if it exists that way any more. I've been retired since 1990.

his rate of pay will go up plus the normal stuff he will then get danger pay etc etc.......I am assuming that you are NOT yet married at this point, but at no point will the military pay you anything, you are really surplus to requirements [there view of you] and its up to your husband to either provide for you or here's a novel idea....you get a job and save all that extra money for when he gets home to enjoy it together.

I really don't know the reason you are asking this or if your heart is in the right place. Our military that serve in this war are NOT getting paid enough for what they do.
If you want to be there for your man you can be there emotionally for him, married or not.
I'm saddened to think you are asking about the money instead of his welfare.

It would be up to the husband whether or not he wants to set up a joint account so you can have access to his money. He will get extra money for housing and seperate rations for being married. I guess if you are married to him, he has to support you.

You dont seem to be getting married to the soldier for the right reason.... You dont get shyt and shouldnt EVER get shyt!!! I know too many soldiers getting screwed while out there... Why is that a concern to you?... you are provided a place to live and you should be happy with that.. YOU get a job and get your own money!!
