Because you're way more confident, and confidence is sexy. You don't have to worry about being rejected because you know that to one man you're the sexiest thing in the world...and therefore you ARE.

I noticed that too, and so did my little brother, so it's not only a girl thing.
My belief is that we look happy and it shows. After all you are more attracted to a smiling person than one who is making a sad face.
It might have something to do with pheromones too. Because not only it shows on our face, and on the way we act as we feel more confident, but brain cells can "smell it", and it attracts us without much "mind" control.
One last thing is we are probably more aware of it, just because you are with someone you look around you with open eyes, and you might notice things you didn't before.

It's an attitude thing. You probably act more positively when you're in a relationship and guys can pick up on that and are attracted to that.
