Gordon B. Hinkley is the living Prophet on earth today.
Let me clarify that's Prophet with the capital P meaning it comes with a calling from God, and other special responsibilities and athorities as opposed to a just a prophet with a little p being someone with the spirit of prophecy, or as the Bible says a testimony of Christ.

After wiping tears of laughter at some of the answers in here, I can honestly say that Christ was the end of the line of prophets, Muhammad was a child molester and a pervert, the cult of Mormon was founded by a con artist who had been arrested many times for witch craft, and Gandhi didn't prophecy about anything. I can't wait to see how many of you foolish people will run to the one world religion headed by Satan.

Prophets do not become Prophets during living memory. All such claims are made hundreds, or thousands of years after their deaths. This prevents the truth from interfering with the lies that will later appear, this is a common religious practice known as Hagiography - or *******t .

the gift of prophesy is a gift of the holy spirit, available in ancient times, but also more available since the day of Pentecost. There are people in the church today who have this gift..but they are rare...i know of one man who is.... he has prophesied over me a number of times and was 100% accurate....a true prophet does not advertise himself as one so it is difficult to come up with names...

They might not be prophets, but if you want to read about spiritual men, read "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paranasha Yogananda.
