Just about as difficult as to get the money to build it.

I doubt you would get any mortgage from a bank for that purpose.

As for followers: There are always some insecure people around who might feel safe in the seclusion of a monastery.
Especially if you plan on starting a monastery/nunnery on the same premises.

Easy one, book some charisma classes, wear flowing robes, adopt an idiosyncratic hairdo and make a list of key points. Then you can start crusading around the pubs and clubs or libraries, specifically targeting anybody looking at sacred tomes. You're looking for the single, monied, reaching a spiritual cross roads type of gentleman.

Once they're convinced that your cult is the one for them and they're happy to be celibate for the rest of their lives, ask them to help find a monstery premises with you. They will be flattered and offer to chip in. Thereafter, once you're moved in, you can exact a hefty tithe from each novice monk which will pay for any refurbishment, furnishings and running costs.

Not very easy considering that any relgion formed after the 1960's is technically outlawed by the government when they had passed a law banning new religions and any religion formed now a days is considered a cult.

I know that feeling .... it is really hard, but I think that I have the solution ;when one knows why he is here in this world..what is the purpose of his being created ..and knows actually what he wants to achive(HIS CLEAR GOALS) during his life, then there would be no more confusion in his mind or thoughts .
As your mind can set up such a thing ,it also can set up an answer for that question ;WHY AM I HERE IN THIS WORLD? AND WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ? ..........

......Oh sorry I discovered that they are two...
I hope that I understood your question and you benefit from my answer .

That would depend on whether you expect to attract any followers.
