Good teeth turn them on, the veil hides that.

the british are okay with the veils just not the full veil that covers the entire face. Because people like to know who they are looking at and what they might be thinking.

Because some MP made a fuss about it. Before then no one cared. Women have been wearing veils in the UK for almost 3 decades with no problems. Now he just opened the flood gates for bigoted people to have something to whinge about.

Why should they be?? Go to any Muslim country, and you will find you are not even allowed to practice your own religion, and if you're a woman, you're not allowed anywhere without wearing a veil. Why is it that these double standards are allowed??? The western world is pathetic - they should toughen up and treat the Muslims the way they treat the non Muslims in their countries! I was in Saudi Arabia, and had to get down on the floor in a supermarket when 'their' prayer bell rang - I'm not Muslim, but in their country I have to follow their LAWS!!!! Try getting the Muslims in Britain to go along to an Anglican church!! The west needs to stop fussing over these people!
ATTN : KIA SISTER - ACCEPTIVE is a word!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no real problem with it, however I think many people find that Muslims complain about being segregated but they themselves do so by separating themselves from the rest of the population by covering their faces etc.
I have no problem with the veils unless it prevents them from doing their job. (As in the case of the muslim school teacher who's students couldn't understand what she was saying.)

I don't think that acceptive is a word. OF course, I live in America maybe in England it is a word, but I kind of doubt it.

Because Britain is a Christian runned country. The PMs are mainly Christians, and clearly hate Muslims/Islaam. Thy don't have any respect at all. They are racist bigots! They don't care, only for themselves! Blair should be thrown down a puit with scorpions. And bush, well he should be tortured [in any way possible, anything goes!] untill death.
Even though, they know why Muslim Women wear veils, as if they care! [stupid retarded, dysfunctional racist bigot fools!]
There are many virtues on the ruling on the veil.
Heres one to start off with
Question:
is it right for someone to say that since wearing hijab is not one of the five pillars of islam therefore it is really not that important?
Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.
This is a mistake, because hijaab is obligatory for women. Allaah is the One Who has commanded women to cover their adornments, including the face, bosom and all their adornments. This has been enjoined upon women as a protection against abuse and temptation. That is because women are the focus of desire, and the focus of what those who are tempted look at. So if a woman uncovers her beauty she will provoke desire, and people will become attracted to her and will follow her. This is the cause of many immoral actions such as adultery and the things that lead to it. So hijaab is obligatory for women and was enjoined upon them in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“…and to draw their veils all over Juyoobihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)…”
[al-Noor 24:31]
The veil (khimaar) is that which comes down from the head and covers the face, and the jilbaab is an outer garment with which a woman covers herself, leaving no part of her body showing.
And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“…And when you ask (his [the Prophet’s] wives) for anything you want, ask them from behind a screen…”
[al-Ahzaab 33:53]
So it is a protection for women so that there will be no room for people to treat them as playthings.
Question:
Is wearing niqaab one of the conditions of Islamic dress for women?
Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.
Hijaab in Arabic means covering or concealing. Hijaab is the name of something that is used to cover. Everything that comes between two things is hijaab.
Hijaab means everything that is used to cover something and prevent anyone from reaching it, such as curtains, door keepers and garments, etc.....
