They do not 'come' to the west, the west is where they happen to be when they are either born into Muslim families or converted. Geography means little in this matter. Do you think the Christians living in the Middle East should all go back...to where? Faith is not about where you live, It's about how you choose to live. Wearing a headscarf is a harmless thing, like wearing a crucifix, or whatever that thing is that Jewish men wear on their heads ( don't know the name for it). Perhaps we pagans should force everyone else to go skyclad?

Well i was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland all my ancestry is from Scotland. I'm a Muslim where do you suggest i go back to? I never tried to impose rules on anyone and neither has any Muslim I know. Give an example, where is your proof? You obviously know nothing about Islam or the Gods laws and rules that we live by. I was born, raised and live in west as where many Muslims. I go about my business minding my own, i suggest you do the same.

Some believe that it is a matter of government imposing their religious law on society, just as it is in many societies composed of various faith backgrounds. It should is indicated that thier be respect for the religious freedom of the minority and meanwhile expression of the religious freedom of the majority as well.
There will always, it seems, be fundamentalist, even those who are determined to impose themselves on the freedom of others.

People in a democracy have a right to dissent. Do you agree with every single law of the land. Would you leave if you disagreed with the local parking regulations? Most Muslims do not kill or maim and the majority want to stand by the laws of the land but also live by their religious laws. In a free country you have to allow people to disagree otherwise you would live in a dictatorship that would summarily expect people to leave if they disagreed with one facet of the law of the country.
I for one think all religion is nonsense but I also want to live in a democracy and accept a person's right to disagree with me whether it is palatable or unpalatable.

Islamic countries are hell on earth from which all Muslims want to escape and yet when they come to the west they strive to reduce these countries also in to hell. Islam changes color depending on the situation same with muhammad. He made several treaties with various tribes when he was weak but broke all of them making silly excuses. those who believe that Islam can be reformed deserve appreciation for their saintly gesture but they definitely don't live in a real world.

Probably because most of them are British citizens , so where do you suggest we send them back to? If you are so ignorant it is not a prerequisite ( you can look up that big long word in the dictionary) to come from Arabia,Pakistan,Bangladesh in order to be a Muslim, there are plenty of white and black British women who are Muslim and wear the veil.
It is not only the Muslims who come to this country who kill and maim.
They would probably say to you if you don't like to see us why don't YOU go back to where you came from.
Isn't our country ruled by Germans should the Queen go back to where she came from, our Rules mostly Roman, Canon, and Common Laws.

I really don't think you should refer to Muslims as a whole when asking this question. However I do agree to some extent, but I think anyone, any race, creed or nationality, who goes to live in any other country - if they dislike it then they should just leave and not try to change it.

as much as i am an accepting person with an open mind, i too feel if people don't like the way other people live their lives they should live their own lives in their own way and leave people to it. people don't deserve to die because they choose to follow their own path in life. i like the way of life that i have and i hate to think there are some people out there that hate it so much they would kill innocent people.
