When my daughter was younger her uncles (her father's brothers) would teach her how to curse when I was not around. When we were all at church one Sunday someone dropped the collection plate and it made alot of noise. My daughter who was almost 3 at the time, loudly yelled "Damn, that scared the sh*t out of me Mommy," as we were seated not far from some older women. My husband and her uncles roared with laughter.

The older women shooked their heads and I was so ashamed we left about 5 minutes later.

I always taught Rawlin that he had a "penis" not a "pee-pee" or any other baby name for his private parts, but we hadn't gotten around to what his sister or girls have yet, although he had watched me change a diaper many times........

Well, when my son was 3 and my daughter was 1, I took them to the park.
My son was playing in the sand with another little boy about his age.

He said, "Hi, my name is Rawlin, and that's my mom, and my little sister Amber. She's a girl. Know what??! She doesn't HAVE a penis!!!!! She just has a BUTT ALLLL THE WAYYYY UP!!!!!!!"
The other mom was laughing so hard as I turned 3 shades of RED!!!!!!!!

My little girl is only 16 months and a little bit behind developmentally, so she hasn't done or said anything too drastic this far; however, she has this nasty habit of pooping in the bathtub. I usually wait until she does her duty in the morning first and then give her a bath, but sometimes she has to go again. What's embarrasing is when she was over by her grandparents house and they decided to bathe her (I take her toddler tub along just in case) and she had the diarrhea. Oh man...... My mother-in-law just about gagged when she told me about it!

My sons first day of school he came into the room all dressed with a tie and announced " Ain't I handsome? " too quickly I corrected him "ain't isn't a word" With tears in his eyes he said "you mean I'm not handsome?"
Or the time we went to the movies with my 4 year old daughter and in the movie they are showing Susanne Summers and her thigh master commercial and my daughter says loudly "mommy you've got one of those" I left the theater before the lights came on!

My son discovered my bra strap by accident one day. now everytime I am holding him, or if he is in the shopping cart seat, he reaches up to try to pop it. Just the other day when I was at the grocery store, I bent down to get the soda box on the bottom of the cart and the little stinker reached over, grabbed my bra strap and popped it...hard! He managed to break the clasp, so here I was, managing 2 kids, a shopping cart, and trying to hold "myself" up while getting everything into the car. The young man helping me load my grocieres was redfaced and trying to contain his laughter. I was so embarrased and vowed to never shop at that store again, but its not that easy when we only have 2 grocery stores in our town and everyone knows you by name! Since then, I chose to wear a sports bra when Im at my sons level of curiousness...sheesh!
