How do you continue trusting in God when it seems that all your plans come to an end and He wants you to have something completely different from you want?

This happens to everyone at some point in their life. In fact it just happened to me about four times in the past two years! All I can say is that sometimes there is a reason that things don't go the way you want them to but always remember when one door closes another one opens. All you can do is learn from the experience and improve yourself. Don't blame God.

well, you first have to re-evaluate what you are working for reflects the will of God for your life....maybe it is, or isn't.....

sometimes what you are doing is not his perfect will, but he will try to help you even if it is not the best choice, and you missed a better chance earlier... for example, helping with any kind of job is better than having no job at all..even if it is not the best job for you..

sometimes we work hard for something that is good in general, but that is not what we are supposed to be doing.. we get constant opposition.....this is a clue....but sometimes we have no other choice... one day... that effort comes to an end... then at that point, we really have to walk by faith...what other choice do we have?..... it is like stepping out into the deep... you have no idea what will happen next...

seek God, and wait on him for an answer....it may take a long time...but the harder you seek him, the quicker he answers....I would talk to others around me... find out what they think..get advice.... have someone supportive pray for you..do not give up...there is some reason why all this happened....you have to find out why.....and what to do next.... when you have God's answer, not just any answer, you will have peace about it..

It's not a problem,
A short story, I prepaired myself for two years for this job at work that I wanted so bad. When the time came to fill the job I didn't get it. I was the most qualified, but it went to another guy. I was devastated, but I prayed about it. It took a while, but I'm convinced it was for my own good that I didn't get it. I don't know why I did not get the job and I will probably never know, but prayer got me through this event where nothing else would have helped. I thank God every day for His will to be done, not mine.

Mark 8 hrs and come back tomorrow!

Nah....just kidding!

Look, following Christ is all about denying yourself and following the Lord. This could cost you your life! Do you think Paul wanted to grow up as a prisoner in a Roman jail? Do you think Job, a good man who feared God, wanted his children killed, his family and possessions destroyed, his body ravaged by disease?

Our God is a God of love, grace, and mercy. But just as He brings blessings, He also brings adversity. He wounds and kills, and He gives life and saves. The faithful can have a peace regardless of their lot, and praise God even in times of adversity.

Stop trying to mold God into your plans...you have it backwards.

Apostle Paul says you may get knock down but, not knock out. Get up and fight the fight every day. God is with you every day. Remember God promise to us.

He said He would not leave us or forsake. He would be with us all the way. Right!

As long as we live on earth. The devil will try to destroy us. Why? Because he hates God and we are God children. Amen !

So, get up and get going for Jesus. Yes!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again! Look, anything worth having is worth working your butt off for. If you really want it that bad - you'll keep trying. For example - I always wanted to be a published writer. So, for 10 years I submitted my work and collected rejections before I finally sold my first story. Two years later, my first article. Two years after that, my first NF book. 5 years after that, my first fiction novel. I still get rejections and I still haven't gotten where I want to be. Now, 17 years later - I still have to work for what I want. I guess I want it bad enough. So it's not that God doesn't want you to have it, it just means you have to keep working.

There is no pink monkey that will do a thing for you!

Everything in life is CAUSE AND EFFECT!

If you do not like the result you get as the effect of the cause you set in motion then change your approach! Change the cause you set in motion and the effect that comes from that cause will also change!

Keep changing your approach until you get the desired effect!

See no Pink Monkey needed!

maybe god doesn't want you there. Asked god what he wants and ask him to close every door that is not from him. God will guide you to a better place in your life just trust in him.

The best thing you can do is stand back, look at what happened, and say to yourself, "how interesting!" Then, move on.

Do yourself a favor, and take a look at Ben Zander's book, The Art of Possibility.
