There is magic that works with the speed of hand, another is the one which is connected to spiritism.
Deut. 18:10-12: “There should not be found in you anyone who . . . employs divination, a practicer of magic or anyone who looks for omens or a sorcerer, or one who binds others with a spell or anyone who consults a spirit medium or a professional foreteller of events or anyone who inquires of the dead. For everybody doing these things is something detestable to Jehovah.” (Divination seeks to disclose hidden knowledge or to foretell events, not as a result of research, but by the interpretation of omens or by the help of supernatural powers. Jehovah prohibited such practices among his servants. Why? All these practices are an invitation to communication with or possession by unclean spirits, or demons. Engaging in such things would be gross unfaithfulness toward Jehovah.)

Like prayer, you must have belief in what you are doing for your intention to manifest itself. Now, we are not talking about Hollywood-style magick here, but you can do a spell for, say, a way to be found to pay your bills, and truly act as if that has already occured, and it will. I have had it happen, and too many times to be "coincidence". You can creat a vibration of energy with your will that reverberates within the hidden realm and allows those things to manifest that you TRULY believe in...it must be a sincere and heart-felt belief and longing and it should not harm anyone in any way should it manifest itself. There is a saying in witchcraft "To Know, To Will, To Keep Silent" - KNOW and visualize what you want; WILL yourself to make this goal manifest; KEEP SILENT about it and let it happen.

Commentary on the Gospel of Saint Mathew–22—by Swami Nirmalananda Giri - "A former Franciscan monk who had become engaged in “magick” came to see me once and confided: “I always feel like I am dying somewhere deep inside.” And he was. This is the cruel delusion of Satan."

Magic is energy raised from your body, you direct it out of your body with your intent.
You can raise energy by praying, or learning to raise energy from around your body charka points and pushing it out into the universe with your intent.
So yes its real.
Just some people don't know how to.

Yes. You know what they say... You can move mountains with your mind if only you believe. It's metaphoric, of course.
