I don't know about see through burkas, I'd be happy if they adopted the new "Thong Burkas".

Muslims are the general public too. In terrorist attacks Muslims are just as vulnerable as anybody else. Muslims where killed in both 9/11 and 7/7. No there should be no see through burkas, what a ridiculous notion. If you are alarmed by a women covering her body i suggest you don't leave the house. I'm offended by groups of teenagers drinking and smoking dope on street corners harassing passers by wearing hoodies and scarfs covering there mouths and noses so you can only see there eyes. When you call for this to be banned as head wear for them then maybe you would have a valid point.

No because the Qur'an and ALLAH command Muslim women and men to dress modestly. They can not wear tight or material thin enough to be seen through. So NO they should not be made to be degraded even more than western society makes them.
