Talisker is the odd one out. Caol Ila and Laphroaig are Islay Scotches that are made on Islay, an island west of the Scottish mainland. Talisker is not made on Islay, but is made on the Isle of Skye. It is considered an Island Scotch as it made on one of the islands west of the Scottish mainland excluding Islay.
