No to rape, what kind of religion would that start? She conceived Jesus miraculously by the Holy Spirit. She was already the betrothed wife of Joseph and was awaiting the concluding rite of Jewish marriage The Annunciation, the appearance of the angel Gabriel telling her of her divine selection to be mother of Jesus, she was a humble woman without sin. Virgin can mean unmarried woman, but she probably was a virgin as we understand the word, given the time and place. Being the Mother of God was not an easy task for the young Jewish woman. But the doctrine is that God the Son entered the world without sin that was originally started by the rebellion of Adam but stopped at Mary. Women reign supreme in Christianity. God did not pay her dad. It's impossible for God to break his Word. Hymen, how are we supposed to know. It's a hard enough story to understand already.

well a lot of people have believed there was for 2006 years so why bring up the debate now plus if you think like that you'll only upset a lot of people so its not worth the hassle even too ask the question in the first place.
