hinduism does not have mytholigies, they are poems and stories symbolic and metaphoric like the stories in the bible, and hindus do believe god is one, instead of telling people to pay attention in sunday school, why don't you pay attention to what goes on in the world, you self absorbed christian fundamentalists
and in fact, it is believed that the story of Jesus is very similar to that of Krishna, which has exited for thousands of years before christianity
but the religious fanatics aren't open to new things, their world is the bible, what a small world that must be, how sad
I am saying this out of all honesty, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, hinduism, Buddhism their all extremely beautiful religions, but ignorant followers really irritate me, why not tryy to learn about each other instead of discouraging each other????

A pamphlet from ffrf.org claims Hinduism & Xianity are so much alike, since Hinduism is older, they think Xianity got a lot of their ideas from Hinduism. I haven't looked/read about Hinduism yet, so I don't know-no examples.

If we are to take your hypothesis seriously, then it means that to Christians God divided itself into three: the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost ... and all are to be considered God itself ....
and in Hinduism, there are many such divisions, all seen as divine .... Shiva and Parvati, Brahma and Saraswati, Vishnu and Lakshmi ... etc..
Now what?

Hinduism is not a monotheology!
But the difference between them is simple.
Christianity - Millions die in stupid wars and inquisitions
Hinduism - No one killed in a single war.
Looks like one is evil. Can you figure out which?

Hinduism is not "many in one" - it's just "many".
Christianity is about Trinity. Three Persons - One God.
Three Prosopon...one in Ousia (or essence or substance)
