The hour in which Jesus will return is unknown that is why we are told to be always prepared. I am saved and here is how everyone else can be too.
Hear God's word.---So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 also Matthew 13:13-23;

Believe Jesus is God's son---Hebrews 11:1 , Hebrews 11:6; John 8:24; Acts 16:31; Mark 16:15,16; John 5:24

Repent of sins----Luke 13:3; Acts 3:19; Acts 17:30

Confess before men-----1 Timothy 6:12; Romans 10:9,10; Acts 8:35,36,37,38,39

Baptized by immersion to wash away sins----Acts 2:38 ; Acts 22:16; Galatians 3:26,27; 1Peter 3:21; Mark 16:16; Romans 6:1,2,3,4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:35-39

Then follow God's commandments in the New Testament. Hebrews 10:25; Ephesians 2:10; Titus 3:8; James 4:17 ; Ephesians 5:19,20; Colossians 3:16,17 And many other verses.

The Church of Christ teaches only what the Holy inspired word of God teaches. Nothing Added to and nothing taken away.

For we ought to obey God rather than men.

yes the end is coming near, there are signs in the Bible that show us that this world is coming to an end pretty soon. Now I doubt the world is coming to an end in 6 more years for the simple fact that the 7 year tribulation has not started yet. 7 (63 weeks of years) has came to past already, we are still living in the intermission years of the prophetic 7 (70weeks of years); the last 7 years has yet to come. (7 (70) means 7 sets of 70 weeks of 7 years. so 7x70x7=3430years or 1,251,950 days) All of this evidence can be found in the Book of Daniel. Evidence is there for all of us to read, not just the pastors or Theologists, its for us too; people like you and I. (Please excuse my mistakes if calculations are incorrect. I just want everyone to get the point how the evidence is clear in the the Book of Daniel.)
How can you get saved? By accepting the Lord, God in your life as your savior. You must believe in the Holy Trinity to accept Christ, if you don't believe in His doctrine, how can you accept Him?
And yes, I am saved, I've been saved for 3 years now and yet I am far more advanced than thoses elders who have been saved for more than 10 years. Only because my faith in God is STRONG. Your Faith determines your status with the Lord.

God Bless Everyone's Soul.

the bible speaks of the current events going on any many will say the end of the world is near. Although it may not happen as soon as we think, it is near. Getting saved is when you allow god into your heart is how i feel, but going through a ritual (usually involving purifcation on water) is how it happens. I do wanna be save but i am looking around at the different religions, as well as my own beliefs.

Yeah, sure it is. Just like it was 2,000 years ago - St. Paul was convinced that the 2nd Coming would be any day now. Then the world was supposed to end in AD 1000, but it didn't, making all those religious fanatics look really stupid. And again in AD 2000, and then we even had a mysterious computer bug to help, but still there was a conspicuous absence of massive chaos, death, or destruction. Every generation of Christians has believed the End of Days would occur in their lifetimes, and every one has been sorely disappointed. However, they still died, as will we. If you think spiritual salvation will help, then by all means, go get some.

"the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just after tea..."
-Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

at the rate humanity is going, we're gonna wipe out all humans on earth in the next half century if we do not actually start using our brains and stop with the idiotic reasons for killing each other. thats the end of humanity.

earth itself will probably survive another few billion years at least, if we don't blow it up to subatomic particles before that if the human race continues in the current path.

try to "save" me, and i will hasten the end of ur particular world if i can.

The end of any given individual's world could be minutes away. We are all at least within 100 years of our end. You don't need a religion to see that our lives are short and you should keep that in mind.

I'm saved. I don't have problems with anyone of any faith. I know the people who spend their time doing kindness and being inclusive of their brothers and sisters of differing faiths and cultures are moving on a path that takes them towards God.

People who believe in exclusivity, judgment and condemnation are moving away from God. They are not damned, only in the way they choose to live. Someday, love for their "enemies" will enter their hearts and they will know God too.

God is Love and Peace. There's room for everyone and that's great.

No one knows when Jesus will return but all the signs are right for it to be any moment. To be saved (and of course I want to and am saved) one must confess Jesus as Lord and Savior to the Glory of God the Father. Follow him in baptism, confess your sins, repent of your ways and make him Master of your life. Those who speak against this are simply workers of Satan and must be ignored. They are not the ones in charge of what will happen. GOD IS!
